A cold and warm front currently sits over Kentuckiana allowing for scattered showers and storms. Severe chances are low with hail and wind pretty much non existent. This system will clear out but another cold front will move in quickly behind it.
Friday will be a mainly dry day with just a slight chance for an afternoon pop up shower. It is into the weekend the rain chances are going to pick up again. Widespread rain and storms are expected at least through the morning Sunday.
A couples inches of rain will be possible especially in the areas that get hit over and over by rain showers. We will be cooler in the 70s this weekend but the good news is we will get into a drier period for next week and bring back summer-like temperatures by the middle of the week.
