Shelby County (WHAS11) - Siren testing in Shelby County will resume on April 5 at noon after a skipped test date.
Normally, officials test the weather sirens on the last Wednesday of the month at noon. They were unable to perform the test in March due to weather.
Officials need your help, listening to make sure the sirens can be heard from your location. If you are near a siren, Shelby County Emergency Services officials ask that you report back on their Facebook page after the testing to let them know if you heard it.
