LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A big project is underway in Clark County as a new police station for Charlestown. City officials broke ground on the new building this morning.
The current station has been in use for 71 years.
The design is still being finalized, but construction is expected to start in the next few weeks. It should be completed in late spring 2019.
