Virginia Moore bobblehead available for pre-order

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is putting the spotlight on another Kentucky official. Just a couple weeks after the release of a Governor Andy Beshear bobblehead, the company announced that is making one for Virginia Moore.

Moore, an ASL-interpreter, has become a familiar face in the Commonwealth as she joins Governor Beshear for most of his 5 p.m. coronavirus briefings. During the press conferences, she communicates important information to the state’s deaf and hard-of-hearing community, and sometimes even teaches different words or phrases to those who don’t know sign language.

The bobbleheads are $25 each, plus shipping, and are expected to ship in August. $5 from every purchase will go to the Kentucky School for the Deaf Charitable Foundation to purchase clear masks for deaf and hard-of-hearing students and teachers.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum released a Governor Andy Beshear bobblehead earlier this month in a special US Governor series. Sales from that bobblehead go to the Protect the Heroes fund in support of the 100 Million Mask Challenge.

The company sells bobbleheads featuring politicians, celebrities, sports figures and other characters. You can see the company’s full collection in its online store.
