Will we see flurries tonight? Here's why the forecast is changing

Last week it was looking like we could see some flurries on Tuesday morning - how have those chances changed?

Since the end of last week, our forecast was calling for the potential of some decent rainfall today followed by a bit of snow on the backside of the system with colder air moving in for Tuesday.

Over the weekend, the model data trended farther south with the deepest moisture plus did not phase the two systems together as much, cutting down on both our rain and snow chances. In addition, another weather system which wasn’t even on the radar (so to speak) a few days ago now looks to brings us a chance for cold rain into early Thursday with the possibility of some snow mixed in as well.

Meteorologist T.G. Shuck explains it all in this video.
