We are still looking at some wet and unsettled weather for this weekend. An upper level low will lag behind the departing storm system and camp out over the Ohio Valley for the next few days. This will keep occasional rain and storms in the forecast along with some cloudiness, so our afternoon highs will be held in check and struggle into the low 80s.
Unfortunately, this upper-level system will take its time departing the region into early next week as another weak front slides our way from the west. As a result, a few more isolated showers will be possible daily through the middle part of next week. It shouldn't be a wash-out during that time frame with highs back in the mid and upper 80s. Have a nice Friday, and a great weekend to come and stay weather aware later today and this evening!
SATURDAY: Scattered showers, a few storms and cooler. High: 82. Wind: W 5-10 mph.
SUNDAY: Scattered showers, high 79.
