It’s going to get hotter and more humid as we go into the end of the weekend. Could be close to some of the hottest temperatures we’ve had this summer. Sunday will be a lot like Saturday with sun and clouds but temperatures will be hot in the mid to upper 90s and with the dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s it will feel like it is in the low 100s. There is also a small chance of a stray storm or two in the afternoon. We repeat this going into Monday and Tuesday as a large ridge dominates our weather keeping us hot and mostly dry.

Cold front arrives by Wednesday increasing our chance of showers and storms across the region and eventually bringing another break in the heat for Thursday but more heat and a dry pattern return for the end of the week and into next weekend.

TONIGHT: A few clouds and warm. Low: 74. Wind:  South 5-10 mph.

SUNDAY: More heat and humidity, stray P.M. storms. High: 96. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.

MONDAY: Partly sunny and hot.  Stray pop-up storm. High: 95. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.
