Snow stats: yesterday we recorded 0.3" at SDF (the airport) which ties a record for this date set in 1997. Our first "measurable" snowfall (> 0.1") typically does not happen until Dec. 7 so we're definitely ahead of schedule.

Temps in the upper 20s and low 30s this morning so while some of last night's snow may have melted, you'll still be waking up to a light dusting on lawns and cars.

We'll see the rest of the snow melt off today as highs will reach the mid and upper 40s this afternoon with some sunshine. A quiet weather pattern will begin today and get us all the way through the weekend after Thanksgiving. Only real chance for any rain/light flurries will be Sunday evening. Wanting warmer temps? We may actually see 60s come NEXT weekend. In the meantime, temps will remain below average.

FRIDAY: Cold sunshine. High: 47. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny and cool. High: 50. Wind: S 5-10 mph.

SUNDAY: Clouds increasing. High 48. Wind: WSW 5-10 mph.
