Southwest offering nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Heading south? Southwest Airlines announced a nonstop service between Louisville and Fort Lauderdale beginning this December.

The flights, beginning Saturday, December 21, add to Southwest's nonstop service to Baltimore, Chicago-Midway, Dallas-Love Field, Denver Houston-Hobby, Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix and Tampa.

Southwest said it will be adding the number of daily flights to Chicago-Midway, and weekend flights to Baltimore, Orlando, Phoenix and Tampa.
