6 A.M. UPDATE: The roadway has been cleared and the ramp is back open.

A ramp in downtown Louisville was closed for several hours after a semi overturned on the interstate Monday night. Officials say the accident happened around 9:20 p.m. at the ramp from I-64W/I-71S to I-65S.

Around 1:30 a.m., officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said that the semi was still blocking the ramp and the product on the truck was being offloaded. They estimated that the closure could still last several more hours.

Police have not said if the driver of the semi truck was injured in the accident.
