ISP: Overturned semi closes all lanes of I-265W in Clark County, expect delays

Police are on the scene near the 6.4 mile marker where the semi overturned. All lanes of I-265 are closed from I-65 to I-64.

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — According to Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), all lanes on I-265 West in Clark County near the 6.4 mile marker are closed due to an overturned semi. 

A tweet from Indiana State Police (ISP) Sellersburg Sgt. Carey Huls, says ISP along with county and local units are on the scene. 

INDOT says the driver may be trapped and that the tanker is spilling ethanol onto the expressway.

It is unclear at this time what condition of the driver is.

Huls also said that all lanes of I-265 are closed from I-65 to I-64. 

The duration of closure is unknown at this time and be advised to find alternative routes.
