SEYMOUR, Ind. — SEYMOUR, Ind. (WHAS11) – Indiana State Police say a Louisville truck driver is accused of driving drunk, causing a crash that shut down a portion of I-65 for 8 hours on Monday.

Indiana State Police say 56-year-old James Murphy was driving northbound on the interstate just north of Seymour when his truck left the road, hit a guardrail and overturned.

A trooper observed Murphy had been drinking and his roadside breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of .26%, more than three times the legal limit.

Neither he nor the woman in the truck with him were injured in the crash.
