FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. — A man is dead after an ATV crash in Floyd County Thursday evening.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. in the 4400 block of N. Skyline Drive. According to an Indiana conservation officer, Thomas Sonne, 69, lost control of the ATV, struck a guardrail and was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene.
Officials said Sonne was not wearing a helmet.
The accident is still under investigation.
