If you’re feeling a little rusty on your “rules of the road” knowledge, you can review all the important rules of navigation in the app, from right-of-way rules between vessels to appropriate boating practices in various waterways.
If you’re headed out on a longer voyage this summer, stay safe by creating a float plan and sharing it with your family. This will allow those back home to know your trip is going as planned.
Before you head out, be sure to review safety standards and, if you notice a dangerous hazard while out on the water, report it directly to the Coast Guard from the app.
