LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – It’s now All-Star week in Major League Baseball and Sunday, while teams finished off their final pre-break games, many saw some of the best and brightest young talents in the minor leagues.
It was the U.S. vs. the World in the MLB Futures game and Louisville’s Jo Adell participated as an American and Los Angeles Angel.
In the bottom of the 7th, game tied at 6, Adell scored on a wild pitch giving the U.S. the lead and the Americans never looked back winning 10-6.
Adell was 1 for 4 with a hit and an RBI.
