LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- If you regularly take I-71 North, you may want to find an alternate route for Wednesday night.
The interstate will be closed overnight from I-64 East downtown to the Watterson Expressway.
The closure begins at 8 p.m. and re-opens at five a.m. Thursday.
Crews will be using this time to fix overhead signs on the road.
Drivers will be detoured using I-64 East to the Watterson and then reconnect with I-71.
