All lanes open on I-71S ramp to I-65 after earlier accident

The downtown ramp was closed for several hours after a semi overturned.

UPDATE: The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet confirmed that all lanes are back open.

The ramp from I-64W and I-71S to I-65S was blocked Tuesday morning after a semi overturned on the ramp.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the truck overturned sometime before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, completely blocking the ramp.

The truck was carrying rolled steel and the driver was not injured in the crash.
