LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Former First Lady, Nancy Reagan, wife of the late President Ronald Reagan, died on Sunday at the age of 94.
Many say that one of her stand out traits was her fierce loyalty to her husband. Not only was she by his side during his time in the White House, but also on the campaign trail.
When Ronald Reagan came to Louisville on October 7, 1984 for a presidential debate against former Vice President Walter Mondale during the 1984 election, Nancy Reagan was there to support him.
The Reagans held a rally at Louisville’s Hyatt Regency. The debate was held at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.
