LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS 11) -- Smack dab in the heart of Smoketown lies a green campus full of young people turning their lives around, and you have the chance to support the cause.

Youthbuild is an education, job training and leadership program that helps unemployed young people ages 16-24 realize their potential and enter the workforce.

Often-times these young people have little to no opportunities to perfect the skills they already have.

Ian Herrick and YouthBuild Alum Cheyenne Orobia stopped by Good Morning Kentuckiana to talk with Tabnie Dozier about the program's Garden party.

Orobia, who is now an employee with Youthbuild, says she was at one of the lowest points in her young life until she joined.

For tickets to the Garden Party or to donate visit Youthbuild Louisville's website.
