The University of Louisville Women's Center honored women and their achievements at the 15th annual Women's Empowerment Luncheon.

The money raised goes toward the women's center and their more than 52 programs helping students. Nikki Jackson the senior vice president and regional executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of Saint Louis served as the keynote speaker. She talked about being a fearless woman and finding the clarity to go for what you want and not what society expects

“We are important and we are critical and we have a voice and we ought to own our nuances and our idiosyncrasies and all of that stuff that makes us unique," Jackson said.
