The Ace Place continues its community efforts. Offers free sewing classes for youth

The Ace Project are hosting sewing classes for the youth beginning June 2-August 8

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — (WHAS11)-- Are you interested in your child learning basic life skills like sewing this summer?

The ACE Place are sewing seeds of success with their free sewing classes beginning June 20-August 8. The kids can be between the ages of 10-18 and classes will be 12-3 p.m.

The ACE Place is intended to be a community center for the youth of Park Hill. Through ACE children will be able to find mentors, homework help and do good in their community.

You can sign up at the Ace Place 11-1 p.m. located at 2336 Standard Avenue, ask for Rose Smith.

 The ACE Place still needs tons of help. This is only the beginning as they are still looking for funding and volunteers as they work to unify and put all the community together.
