LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — Several students were hurt after a school bus crash Friday morning, Nov. 9.
The accident was reported at Taylor Boulevard and Bluegrass Avenue just after 8 a.m.
Police say that the driver of a car on Bluegrass Ave. that was trying to turn left onto Taylor Blvd lost control of the car and struck a school bus that was stopped at a traffic light.
According to Daniel Kemp from JCPS, the bus involved was #1228 and the students involved were from Iroquois High School.
Ten students complained of neck and back injuries and were transported by EMS to the hospital. The bus driver was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
