Roads in Kentuckiana closed due to high water

Roads around Kentuckiana are closing as water in the Ohio River Valley rises.

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – As the Ohio River rises due to recent rain over the span of multiple days, roads are being impacted and even closed in some cases.

The Metro Public Works is updating their Twitter by tweeting the latest closures.

The following roads have been closed due to high water in Louisville:

11th St at the floodwall

N Clay from E Witherspoon to Franklin

E Witherspoon at N Clay

Port Rd at the flood wall

Intersection of Crawford Ave and Six Mile Lane

Intersection of Rangeland Rd and Sheperdville Rd

Intersection of 9th St and W Oak St

Intersection of Algonquin Pkwy and Russell Lee Dr

Ballardsville Rd

Intersection of Farmers Ln and S Park Rd

KY 44 (Old Mill Road) mile marker 10.1 at Bullitt Lick Creek near Old Pitts Point Road

KY 480 mile markers 9-10 (near Woodsdale Road)

KY 1494 (Beech Grove Road) mile marker 5.5 at the David Arnold Memorial Bridge

Spencer County

KY 2885 (West River Road) mile marker 2.6 at bridge over Simpson Creek

Trimble County

KY 2871 (Connector Road) mile marker 0.2 at the Little Kentucky River
