LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Despite reminders and please from Metro Police, people are still leaving their cars unlocked and guns are being stolen.
In a Monday Facebook post, police shared that 8 guns were stolen from 8 different vehicles between Friday and Sunday night – 7 of those vehicles were unlocked.
Investigators say many of those stolen guns are being used in recent shootings and homicides.
Once again, police say remove your valuables and lock your cars.
