LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police are still investigating after two people were killed in an early Sunday crash on Herr Lane.
Police were called to the area around 3:30 a.m. when officers say they observed a vehicle driving erratically at a high rate of speed when it crashed and caught fire.
At the time, police could not determine the number of occupants in the vehicle.
In a release sent just before 8 p.m. Sunday, LMPD spokeswoman Alicia Smiley said there was a male and female occupant but could not determine who was the passenger or the driver. Both are said to be in their mid to late teens.
Police have not yet released their identities or the made and model of the vehicle.
