LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A man has been identified after being struck and killed in southwest Jefferson County Friday night.
Police say the accident happened at the intersection of Lower Hunters Trace and Dixie Highway around 10:45 p.m.
According to Metro Police, 46-year-old Brian Foley was wearing dark clothing while crossing the road and was not in the crosswalk.
Foley was struck and was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene after the crash and is not expected to face charges.
