Paristown Hall officially opens

With standing room that can fit 2,000 people, it also includes a patio, balcony and bars.

A new concert and entertainment venue aims to put Louisville’s Paristown Pointe neighborhood back on the map.

The Kentucky Center and Old Forester officially opened Old Forester’s Paristown Hall Tuesday.

The venue is nestled between east Broadway and Barret Avenue, Vine and Brent Streets.

With standing room that can fit 2,000 people, it also includes a patio, balcony and bars.

Kentucky Center President and CEO Kim Baker says it continues their vision to bring world class arts to the community.

"Old Forester's Paristown Hall emerged from a genuine desire and mission to expand cultural opportunities creating a space where art and music can be collaborative and inspire and thrive.”

Paristown Hall will have a full schedule of shows year-round.            

Upcoming performances include Gavin Degraw and the Wu-Tang Clan.
