LOUISVILLE, Ky. — While school districts around Kentucky are working to meet new school safety law requirements, JCPS announced they will not have LMPD officers acting as resource officers this school year.

Although other police agencies will fill some gaps, at least 17 schools will reportedly not have a resource officer at all.
