LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Hundreds of churchgoers and their pastors made their way to Metro Hall chanting messages of justice and equality.
Twenty different churches stood in solidarity, coming together for one special outdoor service, to remember the lives taken by police.
Their hometown also belonged to Breonna Taylor. Her face is on display in Jefferson Park, reminding them the importance in joining in this fight.
People from every end of Louisville came together as one, with the same mindset, for the same goal – to fight for a better tomorrow.
With church services returning to in-person services, many of the pastors at the event say they are hoping to bring some services outside where they can continue to fight for the message they are sending.
