LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- Kentucky Kingdom said they are bringing back “Halloscream,” an event that the amusement park use to hole in the 1990s.
Halloscream will be held on weekends in the month of October this year.
“Since reopening Kentucky Kingdom in 2014, we've had many, many requests for the return of Halloscream. We thought our 30th anniversary would be the perfect time to bring it back!" Ed Hart, President and CEO of Kentucky Kingdom, said.
All 2019 season pass holders will receive free admission to Halloscream. In the coming weeks, more details about the Halloscream schedule, ticket pricing, and roster of events will be available.
Hart said the iconic event will be like it was in the past.
"As in the past, it will be treats by day and ghouls by night. Our staff is very excited about this - they can't wait!" Hart said.
