Indiana American Water to hold open house for Charlestown residents

Representatives from the company will be available to meet with water customers and will provide details on investments, enhancements, and payment options.

CHARLESTOWN, Ind. — Water customers in Charlestown will be able to speak with representatives from Indiana American Water at an open house on Wednesday, May 22.

For several years, Charlestown residents have expressed concerns over the quality of the water in the area. In March, Indiana American Water acquired the water system in the City of Charlestown for $13.4 million. The system services approximately 2,900 customers.

The open house is an opportunity for residents to meet representatives from the company to learn about a series of local initiatives, including plans for infrastructure investment, operational enhancements for the system, and billing and payment options.
