CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — The Greater Clark County School district has a budget shortfall, but the school board has a plan. Members agreed to get a loan for the $4 million needed, and plan to pay it off by the end of the year.

The district has money coming in but is waiting on agencies to release those funds to them.

Officials also blame lower state funding, low enrollment, and its aging school buildings for playing parts in the shortfall.
