Georgia woman killed in crash involving UPS truck

CLARK CO., Ind. (WHAS11) -- A Georgia woman was killed in a crash this morning on I-65 north in Clark County, Indiana.

According to police, she was a passenger in a minivan, that had to slow down to avoid hitting a tree, that had fallen across the interstate.

A UPS tractor trailer was behind the van and couldn't stop in time. The truck rear ended the vehicle and pushed it into the guard rail.

Three of the four people in the van were taken to University Hospital. Isidra Cornejo Pineda, 33, died at the scene.

The UPS driver was not hurt.
