LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – It was a happy day for a local family who was reunited with their dog.
Rocky had been missing for three weeks.
Thanks to the microchip in Rocky, he was able to be returned to his owners after he was found 70 miles from their home in Louisville.
Editors note: It was originally reported that the dog was a service animal and had been missing for a year based on a Facebook post from the Breckinridge County Animal Shelter, who found the dog. After speaking with the family, it was clear that the dog was not a service animal and had been missing for 3 weeks.
