Crystal Rogers’ disappearance to be explored on Oxygen show

The Kentucky case is part of a television series called "The Disappearance of…."

NELSON CO., Ky. (WHAS11) – The disappearance of a Kentucky mother in July 2015 remains unsolved and now the Oxygen Media network is highlighting the case.

The Kentucky case is part of a television series called “The Disappearance of….” Crystal Rogers’ disappearance will be the third installment of the series and has previously highlighted the Natalee Holloway and Maura Murray cases.

“The Disappearance of Crystal Rogers” will start airing on Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. It will be a two-hour premiere, according to Oxygen Media. The network says the series will explore the circumstances of the case and move into the breakdown of unsolved homicides that have happened in the Kentucky community since the disappearance of Rogers.

One unsolved homicide case in Nelson County includes the deadly shooting of Crystal Rogers' father Tommy Ballard in 2016.

Oxygen Media airs true crime programming full time.
