LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — One local company is hoping to give back a little more this Thanksgiving.

Joey Wagner and Jason Brown, local entrepreneurs and owners of Eventris, are bringing TURKEYSTOCK back for its 5th year on November 14th.

The annual event will be held at Brownies the Shed in Plainview. From 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. you can bring frozen turkeys and canned goods as donations for Kentucky Harvest.

In 2017, the pair was overwhelmed with support from the community when they received 1,500 turkeys, surpassing their goal of 1,000. This year they're setting the goal at 1,500 and are hoping to surpass the goal once again.

All donations of turkeys and canned goods will go to Kentucky Harvest, allowing them to help families in West Louisville.
