LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting after a man was shot while he was driving in Okolona.
The man was identified by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office as 62-year-old Michael Brown.
Officers were called to the scene on Garden Green Way, not far from Price Elementary School, around 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 12.
When they arrived, they found Brown dead inside a pickup truck.
JCPS officials said the elementary school did have heightened security for a short time but they were back to normal operations by 2 p.m.
