LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Authorities are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead in Shively, according to Police.
The crash happened at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Kendall Lane around 9:30 p.m.
LMPD said a female, who was identified as 28-year-old Vanessa Paige Powell, died at the scene after being struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Dixie Highway.
Police say the driver did remain at the scene.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is investigating.
