Indiana University sees increase in mumps cases

At least 17 cases have been confirmed and several linked to a fraternity.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Officials with Indiana University are expected to hold a press conference Monday after a recent outbreak of mumps.

The university recently reported 7 cases and saw a significant increase.  

At least 17 cases have been confirmed and several linked to a fraternity.

The first two cases were confirmed in February and a campus outbreak was declared in March.
