LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- Thursday is the premiere of Top Chef Kentucky.

The show on Bravo spent about 10 weeks over the summer filming in places like Louisville, Lexington, and Lake Cumberland.

One of the 15 chefs competing is from Kentucky. Sara Bradley is from Western Kentucky and owns a restaurant in Paducah called the Freight House.

Bradley says it was tough keeping her spot on the show a secret over the summer.

"I told everyone I was going to New York to help an old friend open a restaurant because you can't let anyone know where you are going, and you know, kind of the secrecy part is kind of cool but it's a little hard too,” Bradley said.

Bradley will reveal more about Top Chef Kentucky on Thursday during Good Morning Kentuckiana. Top Chef Kentucky premieres Thursday night at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
