LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — Louisville’s own “Super Chef” showed off his skills in the kitchen this week while competing in a televised cooking challenge.
SuperChefs owner Darnell Ferguson competed against five other chefs in the “Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge” on Food Network, hosted by Giada De Laurentis.
Each chef was told to think outside the box and faced a series of challenges including cooking without crucial equipment and creating a full Thanksgiving meal in only three hours.
Despite the challenges, Darnell impressed the judges the most – and came out with the win!
He walked away with bragging rights and the grand prize of $25,000 in Sunday night’s finale.
In an Instagram post, Darnell said he was “thankful” for the experience and that he was excited to be “able to come out with the WIN”.
