Pollio hosts feedback session on action plan

Pollio and his leadership team have launched several major initiatives in JCPS in recent months, including the JCPS backpack of success skills and a new racial equity policy that will modernize facilities and reimagine the district's alternative schools.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio hosted a feedback session Tuesday on the new action plan for his Vision 2020 plan.

Pollio and his leadership team have launched several major initiatives in JCPS in recent months, including the JCPS backpack of success skills and a new racial equity policy that will modernize facilities and reimagine the district’s alternative schools.

Pollio says these efforts will build on his promise to strengthen culture and climate while increasing student learning.

The goal is to have the board approve the 2020 plan at its July 24 meeting.
