Leitchfield, Ky. (WHAS11) - Troopers went to a house on Lashley Street in Leitchfield and discovered a man who had been shot multiple times.
That man, identified as 37-year-old David Smith, died from his injuries at a hospital.
James Garrett, 39, is charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and robbery.
Garrett is currently behind bars at the Grayson County Detention Center.
The identity of the victim has yet to be released.
