Police believe Georgia murder suspect could be in southern Indiana

Police said 23-year-old Quintavious Dobbins is wanted for murder and was last seen in Clarksville, Indiana during the Fourth of July weekend.

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — State Police are looking for a suspect in southern Indiana they believe is connected to a Georgia homicide.

Quintavious Dobbins, 23, is wanted for his involvement in a July 2 murder in Perry, Georgia.

Dobbins and three others fled the state shortly after the murder with police capturing two of the suspects in Alabama.

Their continued search for Dobbins and the other remaining suspect, a woman, led investigators to Clarksville, Indiana during the Fourth of July weekend. However, police said the woman has since turned herself in to Georgia authorities.

Dobbins was last seen in Clarksville on July 5.

He’s described as a black male, 6-feet-tall, weighing 185-pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Dobbins also has a tattoo across the front side of his neck that appears to read “12.14.17” or “12.74.17.”

Police said it’s unclear if Dobbins had any weapons on him, but he should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
