Louisville business owners indicted for stealing from customers, Kentucky Attorney General says

The two were indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury for theft by failure to make required disposition of property $10,000 or more, according to a news release.

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Friday, two Kentucky businessmen were indicted for stealing from customers, the Attorney General's Office alleges. The men identified as Aaron Matthew Goff and Andrew Nicholas Riddle are co-owners of 3 Day, LLC, and Trademark Home Design, LLC.

Goff and Riddle were indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury for theft by failure to make required disposition of property $10,000 or more, according to a news release from the attorney general's office.

The Office of the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division conducted an investigation into allegations that Goff and Riddle defrauded at least seven customers in Jefferson County by taking payments for home repairs or improvements that were not completed.

Goff and Riddle now face seven felony charges each for the alleged offenses following a thorough investigation by the Attorney General’s office.

“When Kentuckians use their hard earned dollars to pay for home improvements, they rightfully expect to get what they pay for,” said Attorney General Cameron.

Cameron says the businesses also operated under more than one name. 3 Day, LLC is also known as 3 Day Roofing, LLC and Trademark Home Design is also known as Trademark Bath & Tile, LLC, Trademark Cabinetry, LLC, Trademark Granite & Marble, LLC, and Trademark Shower Enclosures, LLC. All operated out of the same business address on Chamberlain Lane in Louisville, according to the AG's office.

Goff and Riddle are scheduled to appear in Jefferson Circuit Court on June 29.
