LMPD investigating shooting in Park Duvalle neighborhood, 3 injured

All of three of men were taken to University of Louisville Hospital and one is believed to be in critical condition.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — According to a release from the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), three people were injured in a Park Duvalle neighborhood shooting.

Police are currently on the scene as officers were called to the 1700 block of South 36th Street around 2:30 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, a man suffering from a gunshot wound was located. 

Two other men suffering from gunshot wounds were found in the 3400 block of Bohne Avenue, where an LMPD substation is located. Police believe the two men fled the area of S. 36th Street after the shooting. 

All three were taken to University of Louisville Hospital with one of the men believed to be in critical condition. 

LMPD's investigation is still in the early stages as more details are obtained.
