LOUISVILLE, Ky. — According to LMPD, an officer was involved in a crash on S. Hurstbourne at Six Mile Ln. A driver struck the officer's car and now has pending charges for DUI.
LMPD's preliminary investigation shows that an officer heading northbound on S. Hurstbourne around 5 a.m. Saturday was approaching Six Mile Ln. when the driver of a Subaru attempted to make a left turn on to Six Mile Ln. and struck the officer's car.
The officer was transported to Suburban Hospital with minor injuries and the driver of the Subaru was not injured, according to police.
