ELIABETHTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) – There was a rude wake-up call for Elizabethtown residents over the weekend when at least nine homes were vandalized late Friday into Saturday.
Evidence of the vandalism was found on a shed Monday, July 18, in the Freeman Meadows neighborhood.
Swastikas were spray painted on the shed with phrases like kill police, kill Jews and kill Catholics.
Elizabethtown Police said the area was hit once already last week.
Police said while the culprits may see this as funny, it's only spurring hate, during an already difficult time in our country.
