LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police are investigating a double shooting in Buechel that left a woman dead and a man critically injured Sunday.
Officials say officers responded to the 4100 block of Lambert Avenue and Buechel Bank Road around 3:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the two shooting victims outside the home.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the man was transported to the hospital.
Details surrounding the shooting are unclear but police believe it may be domestic related.
LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell did not specify whether one of the gunshots was self-inflicted.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
