LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The city of Louisville is calling on residents for ideas to improve the health of the city.

The Health Equity Center is hosting a conference in October called “My Dream for Lou: A Community-Driven Agenda for Change.” The center, which is part of the Metro Health Department, looks at the health impacts of the city’s policies.

The event is being held at the Muhammad Ali Center, a place Ali hoped people of all different backgrounds would come together.

The “My Dream for Lou” conference will be held October 6-8 at the Muhammad Ali Center.
